Description
Darkrise is a classic hardcore game that was created by a small group of indie developers in nostalgic pixel style.
In this action RPG game you can get acquainted with 4 classes - Mage, Warrior, Archer and Rogue. Each of them has their own unique skills, game mechanics, features, strengths and weaknesses.
Homeland of the game hero has been invaded by goblins, undead creatures, demons and neighbouring countries. Now the hero has to become stronger and clean the country from invaders.
There are 50 location to play on and 3 difficulties. Enemies will spawn in a front of you or appear from portals that will spawn randomly on location every few seconds. All enemies are different and have their unique features. Defective enemies can appear sometimes, they have random stats and you cannot predict their powers.
Fighting system is quite juicy: camera shakes, strike flashes, health drop animation, dropped items fly in sides. Your character and enemies are fast, you always have to move if you don't want to lose.
There are lots of possibilities to make your character stronger. There are 8 types and 6 rarities of equipment. You can make slots in your armour and place gems there, you can also combine several gems of one type to get an upgraded one. The smith in the town will gladly enhance and reforge your armour that will make it even better.

- The Curse of the Full Moon event has been added (It will repeat monthly for one week, starting 3 days before the real full moon);
- A new type of unique items has been introduced. These items have a fixed set of stat modifiers like other unique items but with random values;
- Achievements have been added;
- A setting to display the min/max values of equipment stat modifiers has been added;
- A setting to adjust the general in-game UI scale has been added;
- Mage received a new skill — Thunderstorm.
- Fixed a bug where the game remained paused (e.g. "I’m still dead after reviving") if you tapped the revive button immediately after the window appeared.

Great Game
I was looking for and RPG with a good loot system. I have to say this hit the spot. I only have three small complaints. 1.) Unable to drop items from inventory when it’s full. This has caused me to have to pass up rare items. 2.) with the large amount of weapons and armor, equipping then do not change the appearance of your character. 3.) Any opportunity to watch an ad for gems or revival always results in the game saying ads are unavailable. These are minor problems and don’t take away from the fun too much. I do hope they are addressed in future updates.
Simple appearance, impressive gameplay
Most pixel styled mobile games I’ve played look simple and are simple with no real depth. Darkrise flips that, and it’s simple at face value, but as you progress there is a lot more involved. As an inspiring Indie dev, this is a pixel base master piece. I do wish the hero’s had more variety, other than the base model you start the game with!
All in all, I will be putting a lot more hours into this game! Keep up the development!
